Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for the Data & Audience Platform (DAP). The role sits between Senior MLE and Staff MLE levels, delivering end-to-end production ML systems and guiding architectural decisions across flagship workstreams.

You will collaborate with global teams, including Hyderabad, translating business priorities into an executable ML roadmap. You’ll bring 5–8 years of ML engineering experience (3+ with a PhD), strong Python, Databricks, and SQL

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of industry experience in ML engineering or applied data science, with 3+ years post-PhD.
• Deep Python expertise and production ML experience at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Databricks and SQL/Snowflake for feature sourcing and model delivery.
• Experience with AWS ML services (SageMaker, S3, Lambda).
• Strong understanding of ML model evaluation, A/B testing, and causal inference.”
• Demonstrated technical leadership: setting patterns, driving architecture, mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of production ML systems.
• Own flagship ML products (identity resolution, lookalike modeling, forecasting).
• Architect and document scalable data pipelines and feature stores.
• Mentor engineers across teams and time zones.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and ad sales to translate requirements into ML roadmaps.
