Job summary

Collectors seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build applied ML systems from prototype to production. You will work across computer vision, multimodal data, and agentic AI workflows with impact on graders, researchers, and collectors.

You’ll partner with product, engineering, and domain experts to turn ambiguous problems into reliable ML solutions, delivering scalable, maintainable pipelines and tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ML/AI experience in production environments.
• Strong Python programming and software engineering fundamentals.
• Proven ability to design, train, evaluate, deploy, and monitor models.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end ML systems for AI/ML product initiatives.
• Own projects from framing to launch and post-launch monitoring.
• Develop production-grade computer vision, multimodal, and agentic pipelines.
• Improve data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and feedback loops.
• Collaborate with annotation, operations, product, and domain experts.
• Translate experiments into technical recommendations balancing quality and costs.
• Contribute code, docs, and design artifacts; participate in reviews.
