Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for End-to-End Planning to advance high-performance, low-latency planning for production autonomous driving. You will design scalable architectures, deploy ML-driven behavior strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust motion planning across Level 2–4 systems.

The role requires advanced degrees and hands-on experience with vision-action and VLA models, diffusion methods, and driving-performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Production systems involving vision-action models, VLA models, diffusion/flow-matching models, and autonomous driving metrics.
• Expert-level Python and PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of perception, prediction, and planning for autonomous driving.
• Solid foundation in physics, probability, and statistics.
• Experience improving software engineering with AI-assisted tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain high-performance, low-latency end-to-end planning algorithms for autonomous driving in production.
• Design reusable architectures for Level 2/3/4 planning systems.
• Develop and implement advanced ML algorithms for data-driven driving behavior and planning.
• Lead software development with full-stack autonomy; deploy in closed-loop vehicle systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust motion planning implementations.
