Job summary

Quantiphi is seeking a hands-on software engineer to build agentic AI features for Humana’s internal users. You will design and implement pipelines that plan, retrieve, and reason across diverse data sources, with a focus on reliable, cited results.

You will collaborate across a stack to deliver a Perplexity-style front end and ensure production-grade quality, security, and observability in a fast-moving, on-site NYC environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems (agents, tool-use, planning, multi-step reasoning).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with production-grade Python.
• Deep experience with Google Cloud stack: Vertex AI, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Run.

Responsibilities

• Build hands-on, end-to-end agentic AI features into production — you write code daily.
• Engineer planning, retrieval, tool-use, and orchestration components for the internal search engine.
• Integrate many data sources and connect agentic backend to production UI.
• Collaborate on-site at NYC Mid-Town office Tuesday–Thursday and deliver fast, reliable results.
