Unity Technologies SF is seeking a senior engineer to design GenAI-backed creative systems and sophisticated budget pacing for a global ad-tech marketplace. You will build backend infrastructure to automate asset generation and enable rapid experimentation while ensuring high-throughput, fault-tolerant billing pipelines.

The role requires deep experience in ads delivery, real-time processing, and leading multi-quarter roadmaps, with strong emphasis on data accuracy and security.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in computer science or a related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years on ads delivery systems.
• Experience with large-scale, low-latency backend systems using Java/Go/Scala.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize budget pacing controllers for multi-timezone ad spend.
• Lead backend integration of Generative AI models for asset creation.
• Build and scale high-velocity experimentation infrastructure (A/B tests, switchbacks).
• Architect and maintain high-throughput billing pipelines with strong data fidelity.
• Analyze financial and marketplace data to tune pacing and billing logic.
