Job summary

Crystal Equation Corporation is seeking a Research Scientist III to develop and deploy advanced ML and computer vision solutions for egocentric perception in AR/VR environments. The role emphasizes adapting state-of-the-art models and building demonstrable proof-of-concept platforms.

You will prototype end-to-end systems, work with wearables like smart glasses, and contribute to fast iteration using Python, PyTorch, and C++. Strong collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• MS in a relevant field such as Deep Learning, ML, CV, CS, or statistics.
• 3+ years experience developing and implementing ML, CV, or DL algorithms.
• 3+ years experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• 3+ years experience with Python and C++.
• Demonstrated ability to independently build, train, and evaluate ML models.
• Demonstrated ability to implement end-to-end prototypical learning systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement time domain, multi-modal, and related multi-sensory ML models by adapting existing models and algorithms.
• Develop multi-view geometry tracking and localization for prototyping and testing novel ML/CV algorithms.
• Support prototyping and R&D in deploying algorithms to wearable form factors (smart glasses).
• Leverage AI-native platforms for coding and fast build-test cycles (Python/PyTorch; limited C++).
