Amazon Annapurna Labs seeks a Sr. Machine Learning Compiler Engineer to lead the development and scaling of a compiler for the world’s largest ML workloads on AWS Trainium.

You will architect critical features, publish cutting-edge work, and mentor a team of engineers, partnering closely with AWS ML teams. The role favors ML accelerators and a background in machine learning; relocation to Seattle, Cupertino, or Austin may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.

Responsibilities

• As Sr. Machine Learning Compiler Engineer on the NKI team, you will be a thought leader supporting the ground-up development and scaling of a compiler that handles the world's largest ML workloads.
• Architecting and implementing business-critical features, publishing cutting-edge work, and mentoring a team of experienced engineers is what excites and challenges you.
• You will leverage your technical communication skills as a hands-on partner to AWS ML teams.
