Job summary

Metrea seeks a Mission Network Engineer to maintain and evolve secure network environments supporting enterprise systems and remote ISR. You will work on Linux, virtualization, and secure communications with non-standard TTPs.

The role requires broad networking expertise, the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; military or government experience may count.
• Minimum 7 years designing and maintaining secure network environments.
• Broad hands-on knowledge across networking, Linux, virtualization, secure communications, and systems integration.
• Experience with secure tunneling, remote access, and routing technologies.
• Active ability to obtain/maintain US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex network environments, including secure, classified systems.
• Configure routing, switching, VPNs, firewall policies, and secure remote access.
• Support remote ISR systems and fielded networks in diverse environments.
• Evaluate and integrate new networking technologies and open-source tools.
• Coordinate with admins, cybersecurity teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects.
