Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to define and optimize high-availability HVAC architectures for critical environments in Abilene, Texas. You will lead troubleshooting, drive redundancy, and mentor technicians while coordinating with procurement and facilities teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with chilled-water plants, CRAH/CRAC, and safety standards, including LOTO, ASHRAE credentials, and EPA 608 where applicable.

Qualifications

• Lead mechanical and HVAC architectures for high-availability environments
• Review commissioning plans and sequences of operation for reliability
• Mentor technicians and guide critical technical decisions
• Ensure safety and LOTO compliance

• Define and improve mechanical/HVAC architectures for uptime
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of incidents
• Collaborate with procurement, facilities, engineering, construction teams
