Job summary

AHA Consulting Engineers, a multi-discipline building system consulting firm, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a PE license for a fully remote role (Texas/Virginia preferred). You will lead HVAC design for data centers and manage projects from concept through construction administration.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of lead experience in MEP consulting, strong client-facing skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace, and Carrier HAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MSME a plus) and PE license / 8+ years lead mechanical engineering in MEP
• Experience with mission critical facilities and data centers
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace, Carrier HAP and HVAC modeling tools

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical/HVAC design for mission critical facilities, performing calculations and selecting equipment.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and staffing from kickoff through closeout.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
