Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality on missiles or high-velocity vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of missile design review and quality management across systems.
• Experience driving product quality and test/measurement system development.
• Collaborative work with Reliability Engineering, chief engineers, and manufacturing teams.
• FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements (MSA, GD&T) knowledge.
• Experience with manufacturing processes; industry standards and best practices.
• Strong ownership mindset to drive projects from start to finish.
• Data mining, data quality, metrics, and statistical tools (MATLAB, JMP, Minitab).
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive product development and production for missile programs with quality processes.
• Resolve production ambiguities related to maturity, stability, and field performance.
• Transition from NPI to high-rate manufacturing, supply chain, and deployment support.
• Own elimination of product risk to improve reliability across the lifecycle.
• Ensure execution of product and process requirements and improve them as needed.
• Lead RCCA, MRB activities and review actions for effectiveness.
• Lead product health data analysis and establish metrics for quality performance.
• Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Develop an overall quality plan for missile projects and qualify internal/external processes.
• Lead supplier quality engineers supporting missile programs.
