Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking an Applications/Product Engineer with MIM or powder metals experience to drive design and development of new products and applications. The role supports the Commercial Sales Team and Product Launch Team, serving as a key technical resource for manufacturing readiness and successful product introductions.

Qualifications

• MIM/powder metals knowledge or experience in metal injection molding required.
• Strong design capability with CAD skills to modify prints/models.
• Experience interfacing with customers and translating needs to engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering quotations for new products including materials, processes, tooling and capital costs.
• Recommend manufacturability improvements for customer components using DSB’s MIM technology and update CAD models as needed.
• Lead the fabrication of engineering samples and prototypes.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams.
• Guide APQP activities from Gate 1 through Gate 5 for new product introductions.
