Qualifikationen

• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance; ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 14+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain a certification in operational positions through training/evaluation.
• Willingness to relocate if not within commuting distance of Schriever AFB.

Aufgaben

• Advise customers on satellite operation and maintenance activities.
• Advise customers on ground command and control system operations.
• Conduct technical meetings, author database and software change requests.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Identify, create and implement software tools to improve team efficiency.
• Perform ground computer system software and database testing.
• Author, maintain, review, and support satellite operations procedures.
• Configure and run simulations to support procedure validation.
• Conduct analyses and studies and provide recommendations.
• Perform satellite data trending and analysis to evaluate spacecraft performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers.
