Merritt Woodwork is seeking an experienced Millwork Project Principal in Mentor, OH. This role leads high-end architectural millwork projects from hand-off through completion, coordinating with Engineering, production, Clients, Architects and General Contractors to ensure precise, efficient delivery.

You will manage schedules and budgets, read drawings and specs, and uphold Merritt’s exacting standards. Remote work is open to qualified candidates, with extensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of millwork industry experience.
• Experience in project management and estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural millwork drawings and specs.
• Strong knowledge of schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Ability to identify and resolve field measurement issues.
• Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from hand-off through completion.
• Develop project strategy with Engineering and coordinate production.
• Coordinate with Clients, Architects and General Contractors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure projects meet Merritt’s exacting standards.
