Job summary

Akima Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Staff Trainer (Dog Handler) to develop and deliver MWD handler training and related programs at FBLM. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating training content, and assessing program impact to meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of dog handling/training experience, be a U.S. citizen, and hold or be able to obtain a Secret clearance. On-site work with competitive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of dog handling/training experience.
• U.S. citizen required.
• Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students in Military Working Dog Handler training.
• Develop and deliver employee training programs.
• Assess training impact through testing and metrics.
• Supervise and direct training staff; coordinate workflow within the department.
• Design assessments to measure performance of training programs.
