Job summary

WEBCO MFG in Leawood, KS is seeking a SENIOR MIG WELDER/FABRICATOR to join our Weld Team. This role focuses on delivering high quality welds that meet customer specifications while working efficiently in a homegrown, employee-owned company culture.

You will read blueprints, select welding methods, perform first piece checks, and maintain production records to ensure timely completion. We offer an air‑conditioned shop, quarterly bonuses, ESOP, and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years MIG welding/fabricator experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Comfortable with flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill welds.
• Can weld mild, stainless, and galvannealed steel.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality welds efficiently.
• Determine welding method to use if not stated on blueprint.
• Perform first piece check and submit to QA for inspection.
• Maintain records on production to ensure correct part counts.
• Organize work by complexity, method, and anticipated completion time.
