Job summary

WEBCO MFG is seeking a SENIOR MIG WELDER/FABRICATOR to join our Weld Team. You will produce high quality welds in a customer-focused environment, reading blueprints and ensuring parts meet specifications.

This role emphasizes efficiency and precision with opportunities for growth within a fully employee-owned company. In this on-site position, you’ll work in a fully air-conditioned shop with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years MIG welding/fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Able to weld flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill welds.
• Welds mild, stainless, and galvannealed steel.
• Strong attention to detail and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality welds efficiently.
• Verify materials meet specs and select welding method if needed.
• Perform first piece check and submit to QA for inspection.
• Maintain production records to ensure correct part counts.
• Organize work to meet deadlines and handle multiple orders.

Job duties:

• Produce high quality welds efficiently.
• Ensure materials meet customer specifications by determining the welding method to be used if it is not stated on the blueprint.
• Ensure parts are welded correctly by performing the first piece check and submitting it to quality assurance for inspection prior to completing the entire job.
• Ensure production of the correct number of parts by maintaining records on production
• Ensure efficient and timely processing of various job orders by organizing work to be performed according to complexity, method used, anticipated completion time, etc.
• Other responsibilities as required.
