Job summary

Deloitte's Cyber team is seeking a Senior Engineering Management Specialist to help clients design and implement Microsoft Purview capabilities across data governance, information protection, and regulatory compliance. You will work directly with clients on large-scale transformation projects from assessment through optimization.

The role requires 4+ years in technical consulting or solution design for Purview, hands-on Purview deployment experience, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical consulting, client problem-solving, solution architecture, or design for Purview or data governance.
• 4+ years hands-on experience implementing Purview capabilities (classification, labeling, protection, eDiscovery, DLP, or compliance reporting).
• 4+ years designing data governance or compliance controls across Microsoft environments.

Responsibilities

• Assessing governance and compliance environments and developing recommendations for Purview capabilities.
• Designing and implementing Purview solutions for classification, labeling, retention, and governance.
• Performing health checks, discovery, and remediation for Purview deployments.
• Supporting PoC, deployment, integration, and post-implementation activities for Purview and adjacent Microsoft security and compliance technologies.
• Advising clients on data governance strategy, lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, and operating model improvements.
