Job summary

Haines & Kibblehouse, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Driller Operator to join our team in the field. The role covers setup, operation, and maintenance of micropile drill rigs and related equipment, with focus on safety, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications.

You will read project drawings, follow installation methods, monitor performance, and adjust techniques for varying soil and site conditions. Collaborative communication with crew and supervisors is essential.

Qualifications

Experience setting up and operating micropile drill rigs or similar foundation drilling equipment.
Ability to read project drawings, plans, specifications, and layout information.
Ability to confirm drilling layout and locations against approved plans.
Knowledge of drilling equipment, tooling, maintenance practices, and jobsite safety requirements.
Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain micropile drill rigs and related drilling equipment.
Operate drilling equipment safely and efficiently per safety practices and project requirements.
Perform drilling operations for micropiles and drilled piles as assigned.
Verify that drilling layout matches approved project plans before starting work.
Read and interpret project drawings and layout information.
Monitor drilling depth, alignment, equipment performance, and installation quality.
Communicate with foremen, superintendents, and crew to support safe, accurate work.
Complete daily reports and required documentation accurately and timely.
