Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division is seeking a Senior Microgrid Controls Engineer to design, develop, test, and commission Microgrid control solutions for customers across the U.S. Travel approximately 35% to support project execution and commissioning.

You will work with automation controllers, HMIs, and protection relays to deliver complete Microgrid power systems, including PV, BESS, diesel/natural gas, and generators, while collaborating with multiple

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution with 3+ years in power distribution controls.
Experience with Microgrid operations and DER systems.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Create, modify, test, and deploy software for Automation Controllers and HMI’s for Microgrid applications.
Follow drawings, specs, and internal standards for project implementation.
Prepare submittals and coordinate with customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design intent.
Assist with factory testing and field start-ups.
Troubleshoot systems to restore proper operation.
