Job summary

AbbVie in Texas is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform microbiological and chemical testing used in the manufacturing process. You will handle water and in-process samples, ensure cGMP and GLP compliance, and support method transfer and qualification activities.

Responsibilities include documenting results, maintaining equipment, and supporting waste management and environmental monitoring programs. A2-year lab experience with endotoxin and bio burden methods is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology or Medical Technology).
• Minimum two years in a laboratory, environmental monitoring experience.
• Experience with endotoxin, bio burden testing; RCS/Climet equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological/chemical testing per procedures and specs within timeframes.
• Support validations, sampling and reinstatements as needed.
• Document test results for final products and environmental monitoring.
• Submit LIMS samples and perform growth promotion and microbial testing.
• Maintain lab equipment and inventory; ensure training certifications.
• Generate and manage waste per procedures; comply with regulations.
