Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Senior Microbiologist Specialist to balance hands-on laboratory testing with cross-site strategic leadership across CPSNA sites in Atlanta and Puerto Rico.

You will spend roughly half the time performing microbiological analyses and half guiding risk governance, EMP standardization, and AI-enabled decision support across multiple sites. The role emphasizes GLP, QMS, and KORE compliance and mentoring of analysts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of laboratory experience or equivalent balance of testing and leadership.
• Multi-site or cross-functional project experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related science required; Master’s preferred; advanced QMS/KORE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing on water, raw materials, finished products; ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Serve as escalation point for complex test results and provide technical guidance.
• Lead risk assessments and support CAPA and RCA activities across CPSNA.
• Develop and implement AI/digital tools for real-time microbiology decisions and dashboards.
