You will perform and supervise microbial testing, maintain regulatory compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement in a GMP environment.

The role emphasizes data integrity, training, troubleshooting and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to safeguard patient safety and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or science related field and 6+ years of microbiology assay experience.
• Alternative: Associate’s degree with 8+ years of related experience.
• Alternative: HS diploma with 10+ years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of microbiology principles and GMP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine microbiological assays on materials, water, in-process and finished products.
• Sample air, surfaces and water to monitor microbial contamination in the facility.
• Write and approve SOPs, test methods and reports.
• Validate new equipment and methods; ensure data integrity and proper documentation.
• Provide training on microbiological techniques and support investigations.
