Job summary
Medpace seeks Advanced Nurse Practitioners / Clinical Nurse Specialists with metabolic disease experience to be at the forefront of new treatments. You will work alongside physicians as a clinical expert supporting project teams in clinical research studies (no direct patient care).
Prescribing experience is preferred. You will develop disease-specific education, review safety data, and provide clinical input in study protocols and client proposals, serving as the clinical expert in business
Qualifications
- Masters or doctoral level nursing degree or equivalent.
- NMC registration and PIN required.
- Significant experience as ANP/CNS in metabolic diseases.
- Experience with clinical research is preferred.
- Evidence of autonomous clinical or research work at senior level.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement disease-specific and clinical education for internal teams.
- Review safety data and medical history as part of the medical monitoring team.
- Assess protocols for scientific and safety considerations and risks.
- Attend pre-study and study-related meetings with project teams for clinical input.
- Support recruitment, screening and conduct activities with Clinical Operations.
- Contribute clinical input in proposals for client trials and new business.
- Present as a clinical expert in client presentations.
