Job summary

SpaceX in Bastrop, Texas is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer for MES to own end-to-end software development that enables manufacturing execution.

The role focuses on delivering mission-critical applications across SpaceX manufacturing and Starlink platforms, with ownership of software engineering and cross-team collaboration. The candidate will design and build high-throughput MES software, work on data-stream platforms, and ensure robust deployment and monitoring in a fast-paced aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a scientific discipline with 5+ years of professional software development experience, or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across SpaceX
• Create new applications that improve how SpaceX operates
• Build prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into users' problems to find and create efficient solutions
• Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews
