You will oversee budgets, schedules, quality, staffing, and client communications while guiding design teams through HVAC and mechanical utility systems for a range of facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related technical discipline).
• 12+ years of experience in MEP consulting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical utility system design, equipment sizing, specification development, and codes/standards.
• Experience with engineering calculations including cooling/heating loads, ductwork, and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Manage multidisciplinary project teams on R&D facilities, labs, central utility plants, academic and commercial buildings.
• Own budget, schedule, quality, staffing, and client communications; oversee sub-consultants.
• Provide technical leadership and approve drawings, specs, and calculations.
• Prepare proposals from RFPs and scopes of work; monitor billings and collections.
• Maintain client relationships and contribute to new business development.
