Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 years in behavioral health, psychiatric, or related patient care.
• Licenses: BLS, CPI, and a valid Texas driver’s license; pre-employment drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health patient care under nursing supervision across units.
• Transport and drive patients to appointments following safety procedures.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and participate in the therapeutic milieu.
• Support patient safety and participate in codes when needed.
• Greet patients and ensure comfort and privacy.
