Coos-Health- is seeking a Mental Health Associate II (Oregon CADC) to provide community-based services supporting individuals with significant mental health issues in their recovery goals. The role includes case management, coordination with families and other providers, and developing recovery-oriented treatment plans.

The position requires an Oregon CADC, a Bachelor's or equivalent three years in mental health, and a valid driver license.

Formación

• Qualified Mental Health Associate or eligible.
• Bachelor’s degree in health/behavioral health or 3 years relevant experience.
• Oregon Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
• Valid driver license.
• Strong time-management and clinical writing skills.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work under supervision and maintain professional relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support, education and case management to consumers to assist them in achieving their recovery goals.
• Utilize motivational interviewing and provide stage appropriate interventions.
• Coordinate work with involved family, caregivers, medical, psychiatric and other providers.
• Assist consumers in accessing available benefits and services.
• Develop recovery-oriented treatment plans with measurable and objective goals.
• Maintain clinical documentation to meet standards and requirements.
• Complete Substance Abuse assessments to establish ASAM criteria for admission to residential and higher levels of treatment.
• Facilitate/co-facilitate Co-Occurring Disorders groups and assist in development of necessary treatment services.
• Provide individual and group consultation regarding co-occurring disorders.
