New York State Office of Mental Health seeks a Mental Health Program Specialist 2 to coordinate care for homeless individuals across housing, healthcare, mental health, and social services sectors. The role supports the SOS program to connect people to permanent housing and services, with data-driven oversight and collaboration with regional offices and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in child and family studies, counseling, psychology or related field AND three years of professional clinical or administrative experience in a mental health program.
• Master's degree can substitute for one year of specialized experience.

Responsabilités

• Monitor SOS activities to identify best practices and evaluate program performance.
• Act as liaison to assigned teams to support SOS implementation.
• Facilitate learning collaboratives for SOS teams reviewing progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Housing Development & Support staff to promote OMH initiatives.
• Review RFP applications as assigned.
• All other duties as assigned.
