Job summary

Aquatech, a global provider of water and process technology solutions, seeks a Senior Mechanical Systems & Applications Engineer to lead design, integration, and testing of membrane-based systems in Albany, Oregon. You will drive development of membrane modules and support field deployments.

The role requires coordinating with internal and external teams, traveling domestically and internationally, and working 100% on-site in Albany.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience designing and integrating industrial equipment, fluid-handling systems, process skids, or membrane-based systems.
• Working knowledge of pumps, piping, valves, pressure-containing equipment, instrumentation, materials of construction, and mechanical design practices.
• Experience creating or reviewing equipment layouts, fabrication drawings, schematics, P&IDs, bills of materials, and technical specifications.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and system performance using field observations, test data, and structured engineering analysis.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical System Design & Integration of membrane modules, skids, pilot systems, test fixtures, piping and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Applications engineering to determine technical fit for FO, OARO, RO, NF solutions.
• Testing, piloting and field support including test plans and field verification.
• Production & product support for module production, work instructions and documentation.
• Cross-functional technical leadership coordinating with engineering, operations, sales, and field teams.
