Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Specialist IV at the Placerville Branch to deliver trusted financial guidance and exceptional member experiences. You will process transactions, open accounts, and promote Golden 1 products while supporting branch operations.

The role emphasizes growth, training, and internal advancement, with a focus on service excellence in a community banking environment.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required.
2+ years in a leadership role at another financial institution preferred.
1.5+ years in a Member Service Specialist III role preferred.

Responsibilities

Process and audit financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries with a cash drawer.
Provide Golden 1 services to members including cashier’s checks, money orders, and debit card issuance.
Identify member needs and document opportunities for Golden 1 products and services in EnAct.
Report fraudulent activity per procedures to prevent losses.
Assist in ATM and Teller Cash Dispenser operations and related tasks.
May lead open/close duties in the absence of Branch Manager or Associate Branch Manager.
Engage in consultative dialogue to identify financial needs and enroll members in online/mobile channels.
Refer home lending/investment needs to appropriate partners via EnAct referrals.
Process consumer loan applications and complete loan fulfillment when appropriate.
