Millipore Corporation invites applications for a MEGASYS technician in Boise, Idaho. You will ensure reliable supply of gases, chemicals, and slurries to semiconductor manufacturing processes, operate blending equipment, and support life safety systems.

This full-time role includes 24/7 coverage with 12-hour shifts and travel opportunities nationwide. You will work with on-site teams to maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, serving as the primary customer contact and contributing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of semiconductor fab experience.
• Associate Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or technical discipline.
• Understanding of lockout/tagout and safe work practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read flow transmitters and pressure transducers; use precision tools.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

MEGASYS® offers specialized services in managing gases, chemicals and slurries, where our technicians and engineers provide critical on-site support in semiconductor manufacturing environments.In the MEGASYS® technician role, you will be essential in ensuring the supply of chemicals and gases necessary for producing chips used in various electronic devices. This position provides a challenging and rewarding opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to a dynamic and expanding business.As a MEGASYS® technician, you will work full-time, with responsibilities that include 24/7 operations and periodic service calls. You will work with advanced gas and chemical blending equipment, chemical reprocessing, and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with all operational and maintenance procedures, as well as emergency preparedness protocols.Join us in delivering exceptional service and driving flawless execution. Key Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems.
• Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers.
• Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative and repair maintenance.
• Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs.
• Support of quality systems.
• Adhering to site protocols and demonstrating a safety-conscious approach.
• Primary communication point to customer.

Schedule:

Technicians are scheduled onsite for 12-hour compressed shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Attributes:

• 75% of time walking throughout the facility (3-5 miles per day)
• Climbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection)
• Basic lifting (up to 40lbs)
• Bending of the knees and overhead reaching

Minimum Qualifications:

Pay Range for this position: $29-$44/hour The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
