Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks a Senior Manager, Actuarial Services to lead Medicare strategy and pricing initiatives. You will own actuarial tools and processes, review MA bids, and mentor 2–4 direct reports while partnering with Health Plans, Finance, and Compliance.

Qualifications include 6+ years of actuarial experience, ASA or FSA designation, and Medicare Advantage know-how. This role is fully remote within the continental United States with ET/CT preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years actuarial experience required.
• ASA or FSA designation required; MAAA preferred.
• Medicare Advantage actuarial experience and pricing knowledge
• Strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, SAS; AI tools use

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Medicare strategy and planning.
• Own tools and processes for internal users.
• Review and certify MA bids if eligible.
• Train direct reports and develop actuaries.
• Apply math, statistics, finance to calculate outcomes.
• Develop capitation or premium rate assessments with agencies.
• Oversee plan experience, identify trends, recommend improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address issues.
• Present results to internal partners and management.
