Job summary

  • Advanced knowledge of policies and procedures for interdisciplinary care delivery and community programs.
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with a wide range of clinicians to achieve team goals.
  • Ability to independently set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, coordination, and technical assistance for planning and maintaining the Community Care Program.
  • Serve in the VA Care in the Community (CITC) Department at the Nebraska-Western Iowa Healthcare System, Omaha, NE.
  • Support scheduling, referrals, and patient flow across multiple clinics and programs.
