Job summary

Genentech, Inc. is seeking a Therapeutic Area Medical Science Liaison (TA MSL) to serve as a field-based scientific partner.

You will provide clinical and health economic information about disease states and Genentech medicines to healthcare providers and decision makers within your region. The role includes co-creating local medical strategies with regional partners and engaging in broad scientific discussions about patient outcomes and value of care.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or research degree; MD/PhD/PharmD/MSN/NP/PA etc.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience in clinical, managed care, or industry
• Proficiency in GCP and ICH guidelines
• Knowledge of health economics, reimbursement, and pharmacovigilance landscape

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific information on disease states and Genentech medicines to healthcare professionals
• Engage with thought leaders and decision makers to exchange relevant data
• Co-create local medical strategy with regional partners
• Discuss value and cost of care and manage adverse event discussions
• Maintain up-to-date therapeutic area expertise and participate in training
