Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks a Medical Science Liaison (Sr Manager) to provide clinical and health-economic information on CNS disease states within a local ecosystem.

You will engage key influencers, practice leaders, healthcare providers, and patient groups to align with an ecosystem-based engagement model and support regional medical strategies. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, field-based activities, and potential coverage of multiple CNS products.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or related CNS experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of health systems and patient care delivery.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of industry dynamics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Contribute a clinical and scientific perspective to local execution plans and field activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with scientific and medical customers and organizations across the territory.
• Develop deep understanding of ecosystem alignment with patient-centric strategy and priorities.
• Provide evidence-based information to demonstrate value of Otsuka products in clinical, economic, and real-world contexts.
• Mentor peers and support training of promotional and disease-state speakers.
