Job summary

Caribou Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Senior MSL) or Field Medical Affairs Director to support its cellular therapy pipeline across hematology/oncology.

The role involves engaging healthcare providers, building investigator and KOL relationships, and supporting startup activities at trial sites. The position requires an advanced science degree and substantial pharma/clinical experience, with travel up to 50% within the US and internationally.

Qualifications

• Advanced science degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD, RN, NP, PA or equivalent).
• Senior MSL requires 5+ years pharma/clinical experience, including 2+ years as field medical science liaison or equivalent.
• Field Medical Director requires 10+ years of pharma/clinical experience, including 5+ years in an MSL role or equivalent.
• Must have prior cellular therapy experience in hematology/oncology.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the US and globally for medical congress coverage and site visits up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Medical advocate for Caribou by utilizing disease state knowledge and engaging healthcare providers.
• Identify and maintain relationships with investigators, key opinion leaders and academic centers.
• Educate pivotal trial sites to support startup activities.
• Prioritize solutions and develop mitigation strategies for healthcare teams.
• Deliver complex medical/scientific information to healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support trials and publications.
