Job summary

Takeda is seeking a senior program leader in Cambridge, MA to drive end-to-end execution of complex Medical programs at the asset level. You will translate strategy into executable plans with governance, accountability, and transparent decision-making.

You will partner with Medical and PMO leaders to align on milestones, dependencies, and budget implications, delivering leadership-ready updates and data-driven insights to sustain delivery and performance.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of pharma/biotech or regulated environment; global program leadership.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into executable asset-level plans with governance.
• PMP, Agile, change-management certification preferred.
• Strategic program execution aligning asset/TA priorities to governance and delivery.
• PMO standards, data-enabled execution practices across programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic program leadership at asset level for complex Medical priorities and ensure deliverable, well-governed plans.
• Lead PMO partnership with Medical leaders to align governance and execution for programs, launches, and lifecycle initiatives.
• Improve program-level execution with milestone mgmt, risk signaling, and budget visibility across matrixed teams.
• Drive governance and decisions, surface trade-offs, and ensure timely closure of critical program decisions.
• Mentor junior PM talent and advance data-enabled PMO practices aligned to Takeda principles.
