Job summary

Riverside Health System in Newport News, Virginia seeks an experienced operations leader to supervise all aspects of a multi-provider medical practice. You will manage appointments, staffing, payroll, access to care, and billing while using dashboards to benchmark performance and drive improvements.

You will lead 20+ providers and 30+ team members, ensuring high-quality patient experience and timely access to services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, healthcare or related field preferred; 10+ years of progressive leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5-6 years management experience (Required)

Responsibilities

• Supervise all operational aspects of a medical practice including appointments, staffing, payroll, customer service, access to care, and preauthorization review.
• Use dashboards and data to identify trends and opportunities for performance improvement and ensure patient wait times meet metrics.
• Oversee revenue capture, payroll, cash/account management, and payor billing compliance; align resources with office operations.
• Communicate data and reports to staff and management to drive actionable insights and performance improvement.
• Assist with recruitment, orientation and retention of new providers; create a safe work environment and address safety events.
