Job summary

Shepley Bulfinch is seeking a Senior Healthcare Planner to collaborate with institutional clients and internal teams on projects of all scales in the healthcare sector. You will support business development by maintaining client relationships and partnering with Marketing to craft project stories and imagery.

The role emphasizes planning concepts, coordination with consultants, and leading meetings, with mentorship responsibilities to grow the project planning team and maintain current industry

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of healthcare planning experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and Affinity Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate planning concepts through verbal, written, and graphic means, working closely with the Project Design Lead.
• Coordinate with consultants to integrate their requirements and ensure design vision alignment.
• Assist the Project Manager in establishing and maintaining project workplans, including team structure, assignments, and deliverables.
• Lead user group, stakeholder, and public meetings.
• Develop space plans that address project parameters and user needs.
• Maintain program documentation and lead regulatory approval documentation as required.
• Remain current on planning trends, delivery systems, codes, regulations, and evidence‑based design principles.
• Mentor emerging Project Planners and support team development through Continuous Conversations.
