Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Litigation Attorney specializing in Medical Malpractice in Fort Myers, FL. The attorney will represent clients from intake to resolution, pursuing fair outcomes through settlements or trials.

The role requires a JD from an accredited law school, active Florida licensure, and 5+ years of malpractice litigation experience with strong negotiation and leadership abilities. You will manage a substantial caseload and guide staff while maintaining excellent client

Qualifications

• 5+ years of medical malpractice litigation experience.
• Trial experience strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership to build and manage a legal team.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution.
• Evaluate merits of claims and develop case strategies.
• Provide guidance and counsel to clients with clear communication.
• Review medical records and coordinate with expert witnesses.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Florida medical malpractice law.
• Manage substantial caseload and provide leadership to staff.
• Draft pleadings, litigation plans, and conduct discovery.
