Geisinger Medical Laboratories at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to join a full-time rotation-shift team. You will perform analyses, troubleshoot instruments, and contribute to method validation and quality control.

The role requires a BS in MLS/Medical Technology and ASCP certification or equivalent experience, with at least five years in a clinical lab, and a valid driver's license.

Qualificações

• BS in MLS/Medical Technology or closely related field and accredited program.
• ASCP certification or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience.
• Valid driver's license needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and report analyses from multiple specimen sources.
• Operate and troubleshoot instrumentation at platform level.
• Lead procedure writing and annual review of procedures.
• Maintain competency, quality control and proficiency testing.
• Assist with inventory management and staff training.
• Participate in Best Practice Committee as appropriate.
