Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Med Lab Scientist 2 for BSWH Hospital College Station TX. This variable PRN shift role requires ASCP MLS certification or equivalent and at least 2 years of hospital lab experience.

Qualifications

• ASCP MLS certification or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of hospital laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lab regulations and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory tests per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains quality control, safety, and infection control standards.
• Maintains instrument calibration and troubleshooting.
• Reports test results accurately and promptly.
• Maintains inventory and communicates with staff and clinicians.
• Participates in projects and educates others on lab methods.
