Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Medical Informatics Analyst to join the Pharmacy Financial Analytics team. The role focuses on advancing analytical capabilities through network and rebate reporting, reconciliation, model development, and automation initiatives.

The successful candidate will empower leadership with data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions, drive operational excellence, and support the organization’s growth through innovative analytics solutions.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Requires 7 years of relevant experience delivering analytics with enterprise impact.
Requires 5 years of prior pharmacy experience.
Requires SAS Certified Advanced Programmer credential (or equivalent) or advanced analytics certification (e.g., R, Python).

Responsibilities

Support network and rebate reporting, reconciliation processes, model development, and automation initiatives.
Provide leadership with tools, insights, and data to drive strategic decisions and operational excellence.
