Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its AI Center of Excellence to advance deep learning in cardiovascular medical imaging. You will develop, validate, and deploy DL models across echocardiography, CT, and other modalities, collaborating with clinical, regulatory, and product teams to ensure robust, compliant AI solutions.

The role emphasizes end-to-end model development, data pipelines, and translational research with industry-leading standards to support patient care in a regulated healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field with 4+ years of AI/ML experience.
• Proven experience designing, training, and validating deep learning computer vision models end to end.
• Experience with medical image analysis (segmentation, registration, landmark detection, quality assessment, measurement, or disease classification).

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and validate DL computer vision models for medical imaging.
• Develop AI capabilities for image quality assessment, segmentation, landmark detection, and clinical decision support.
• Advance in-house medical imaging foundation models via supervised, self-supervised, and transfer-learning approaches.
• Ensure models generalize across vendors and protocols; collaborate with QA, regulatory, and software teams.
• Build end-to-end data pipelines and deploy models in production; monitor for drift and bias.
• Participate in agile processes and ensure engineering best practices and documentation.
