Job summary

BeaconMedaes is seeking a skilled field service technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical gas equipment at customer facilities, documenting work and reports. You will build strong customer relationships and promote BeaconMedaes standards.

You will train other technicians, provide technical support, uphold safety procedures, keep a professional image, and manage inventory and service vehicles for efficient repairs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical field service experience maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Maintenance, overhaul and repair of compressed air or vacuum equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Associate degree or equivalent.
• Technical training in mechanical and/or electrical, ASSE 6040/6030/6020 credentials.
• Hospital environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical gas equipment at customer facilities.
• Complete paperwork and reports related to service activities.
• Develop rapport with customers and promote BeaconMedaes standards.
• Train and assist other Service Technicians as requested.
• Provide technical support to other departments as required.
• Uphold safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
• Maintain a professional image and company vehicle appearance.
• Manage inventory and store parts for quick repairs.
• Recordkeeping: daily job reports, weekly time sheets, monthly expense reports.
• Warranty part returns within two weeks.
