Precision AQ is a leading payer marketing agency partnering with pharma and life sciences companies to demonstrate the value of medical treatments. The Senior Medical Editor role focuses on error-free editing across print and digital materials, ensuring AMA style and MLR compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor staff, participate in content development, and support regulatory submission processes to deliver high-quality materials for top pharma clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years editing experience in healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry.
• Thorough knowledge of AMA (11th edition) style.
• Experience editing print and digital materials following client and MLR guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit content for correct spelling, grammar, consistency, tone, and referencing per AMA and client style.
• Collaborate with authors and account teams to revise content and streamline delivery.
• Ensure pieces align with client MLR submission processes and assist as needed.
• Develop and maintain editorial style guides for interdepartmental use.
• Mentor staff and provide training as needed.
• Assist with medical/legal/regulatory submission preparation as required.
• Contribute to writing and crafting internal or corporate materials.
