Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Medical Director, Clinical Solutions to lead clinical strategy for Medicare Advantage group sponsors. You will translate data into actionable plans, collaborate with sales, account management, and care management teams, and serve as the clinical face in client engagements.

This high-visibility, external-facing role requires adjusting to travel ~25% and delivering strategic insights that improve outcomes and sponsor satisfaction.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification in an ABMS-recognized specialty.
• Active, unrestricted medical license.
• Minimum of 5 years post-residency clinical practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of managed care, health plan, utilization management, population health, or payer experience.
• Experience analyzing healthcare utilization, quality, and financial performance data.
• Demonstrated success presenting to executive-level stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary clinical advisor and relationship leader for assigned Medicare Advantage Group Plan Sponsors.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key client stakeholders.
• Lead strategic reviews discussing utilization trends, population health, clinical program performance, cost drivers, quality, and trends.
• Present complex clinical, financial, and utilization data clearly and actionably.
• Partner with sales and account teams to support growth, renewals, and client expansion.
• Provide clinical leadership for programs focused on chronic disease management, preventive care, and care transitions.
