Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development

A growing biopharmaceutical organization is seeking a Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development to help shape clinical strategy and advance innovative therapies. Reporting to the SVP of R&D, you will lead clinical planning, trial design, and cross‑functional execution while bringing creativity, analytical rigor, and patient‑centric thinking to development programs.

What You’ll Do

• Lead clinical development strategy and contribute to the Clinical Development Plan (CDP).
• Design, execute, and oversee clinical studies, ensuring safety and data quality.
• Develop key clinical documents (protocols, SAPs, CSRs).
• Analyze and interpret clinical data and communicate strategic insights.
• Support publications, regulatory interactions, and external scientific engagement.
• Build strong cross‑functional partnerships and align diverse stakeholder groups.

What You Bring

• MD or MD‑PhD with 8+ years of clinical drug development experience.
• Rare disease and/or gastroenterology experience preferred.
