Job summary

Medtronic in Lafayette, CO is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to develop and maintain Instructions for Use (IFU) and related documentation for advanced imaging products. You will collaborate with engineering, regulatory, quality and marketing to translate complex concepts into clear user materials.

This on-site role supports global product distribution with translation coordination, document release, and process improvements to ensure compliance and clarity across all technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in technical writing or a Master's with 2+ years experience.
• Advanced experience with Adobe FrameMaker and structured authoring.
• Experience with XML, content management systems, and global documentation.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and HTML for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain IFUs, manuals, and related docs.
• Collaborate with engineering, regulatory, marketing, and QA teams.
• Coordinate translation projects and external vendors.
• Review, edit, and ensure consistency and quality across docs.
• Manage document versioning and release within PLM systems.
• Improve processes for documentation quality and efficiency.
• Support product releases with documentation readiness.
